Live Streaming & Virtual Gifting Policy
Last Updated: September 2026. This Policy governs all live broadcasts, viewer interactions, and virtual tipping/gifting on the Platform.
1. DMCA Copyright Compliance & Intellectual Property Safe Harbor
The Platform strictly complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international copyright legislation. Broadcasters must own or hold valid broadcast licenses for all content featured in their live streams.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED BROADCAST CONTENT:
- Rebroadcasting copyrighted television shows, movies, sports events, pay-per-view broadcasts, or commercial video streams;
- Playing copyrighted music tracks, DJ sets, or recorded master audio without proper public performance and mechanical streaming licenses;
- Streaming pirated software, games, or proprietary intellectual property.
Broadcasters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform against all copyright infringement claims, statutory damages, and legal expenses resulting from their live audio or video streams. The platform enforces a strict repeat-infringer policy resulting in permanent account termination.
2. Prohibited Content & Zero-Tolerance Violations
Live streams containing any of the following will be terminated immediately, and the host account subject to ban and law enforcement referral:
- Nudity, sexually explicit conduct, pornography, or sexual solicitation;
- Violence, self-harm, suicide encouragement, physical threats, or harassment;
- Hate speech, racism, discrimination, or terrorism propaganda;
- Dangerous, reckless, or illegal activities (including driving while streaming, substance abuse, and weapons display);
- Doxxing or broadcasting private personal data without consent.
3. Virtual Gifting & Virtual Items
Viewers can send virtual gifts (e.g., Stars, Hearts, Crowns, Diamonds, Trophies, Rockets) to cheer broadcasters. The following terms apply to all virtual gift transactions:
- No Monetary Value to Sender: Virtual gifts are digital entertainment animations with no cash, surrender, or redemption value for the sender. Purchases of gifts are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable;
- Creator Revenue Allocation: Broadcasters receive creator cheer revenue under our publisher revenue share formula (standard 90% creator credit after 10% platform operations fee), credited to their platform wallet;
- Chargeback Liability: Fraudulent chargebacks initiated by gift purchasers will result in the immediate forfeiture and clawback of corresponding creator earnings and permanent blacklisting of the purchaser;
- Cashout Requirements: Streamer payouts are subject to identity verification, minimum balance thresholds, and compliance checks.
4. Independent Broadcaster Relationship
Streamers and content creators operate as independent third parties. Nothing in these terms or during live broadcasting creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between any broadcaster and the Platform.
